The Roundup for Wednesday, March 16.
North Carolina-bound Hailey Jensen had a two-run homer and a pair of RBI singles and No. 20 Brea Olinda outlasted Yucaipa, 10-8, in eight innings at the Mark Takkinen Memorial Classic on Wednesday at Troy High.
DePaul-committed SS Maranda Gutierrez turned a game-ending double play to seal the win for the Wildcats (6-2). Yucaipa (4-2) is the defending CIF-SS Division 2 champion.

Rosary Academy 9, Rowland Heights Rowland 1: Purdue-commit Nicole Siess went 2 for 3 with two runs and Maddie Elie had a two-run single and scored a run to lift the Royals.
Garden Grove 5, Burbank 1: Meredith Miller went 2 for 3 with a homer and four RBI for the Argos (5-3).
Yucaipa 14, El Dorado 4: Florida-commit Jordan Matthews went 4 for 4 with two doubles and two runs and Amanda Melodia went 3 for 3 with a double, a home run and three RBI for the Golden Hawks in the loss.

No. 18 Capistrano Valley 8, Laguna Hills 3: Hayley Henlsey hit a two-run homer, Ally Taylor went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBI and Oregon-commit Jasmine Sievers went 2 for 4 with two runs for the Cougars.
No. 4 Orange Lutheran 10, San Clemente 0: LSU-committed freshman Ciara Briggs went 3 for 3 with a triple, a stolen base, three runs and an RBI for the Lancers.
Santa Margarita 5, Dana Hills 3: Wagner-bound Kat Holmes-Stall went 2 for 4 with two RBI and Miranda Johnson went 2 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Eagles.
Marina 9, Tesoro 3: Julia Carreon went 2 for 2 with a triple and two walks, UC Santa Barbara-bound Kaitlin Barry went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI and Justine Coonis went 2 for 4 with an RBI to lead the Vikings.
